Hola, piyalli, I’m Hope Aguilera

I am a Mexican traditional bodyworker, herbalist, yoga teacher, artist, and womb wellness advocate. I have spent over 11 years in holistic wellness studying yoga, the plantitas, cannabis medicines, and my traditional womb and bodywork care. I studied Indigenous bodywork with my teacher Panquetzani of Indigemama, and from my Temezcalli teacher Javier in Tepotzlan, Mexico from our lineage of Nahuatl Huasteca people.

I believe women and those with uterus’ deserve to be nurtured, held, prayed over, bathed in herbs, and supported through our struggles of bearing an under-studied organ in our patriarchal medicine systems. We bring life, even when birthing children is not the goal, we hold our creativity in our womb.

I believe healing your womb heals your creative potential, and your lineage forward and back.

Your ancestors celebrate when you come home to your body and earth based womb healing.

My Approach

Hand holding a woven basket filled with red and pink rose petals in a garden

My approach to womb wellness is a unique combination of Mexican traditional Medicine and holistic nervous system and fascial healing of Yoga. The earth gives us all we need to heal. The elements make up our bodies, fire, air , water, and earth. When these are out of balance, such as too much fire and inflammation in the body, or too much earth and too much heavy dense or stagnation, we can remedy this naturally.

A holistic approach looks at not just what is happening in your symptoms, but what is causing you to be out of balance in the first place from your nutrition, to your lifestyle and habits.

I approach womb healing and postpartum care from a holistic or whole-self approach looking at not just the body but the spirit as well.

A sobada, or Mexican traditional massage, is not a relaxation practice, although you may also feel relaxed. It is a mind and spirit, whole body integration and healing system using this holistic approach. It also utilizes nature, in the elements using heat-fire, water, and plantitas, in herbal oils and herbal care.

Returning to the earth, the land, the plants, to whole self care and love, that is womb wellness to me.
